The verse list dialog is a utility that allows you to compile, save, and manipulate lists
of verses. It is topmost (always above the main window), nonmodal (can be
displayed while you work in the main window) and resizable.
Here follows a description of all parts of the Verse List dialog from the picture:
It consists of two lists: Main (left) and Secondary (right)
A mouse click to the Main or Secondary list area will make that list active (indicated by color of list part)
Another way to switch between lists is to use the Active list radio buttons.
Note: This way is preferred when you have selected verses in a list (to prevent selection lost)
Verses in a list can be selected by the mouse. Click the verse to select.
To add individual verses to your selection hold the Ctrl key, to select a range of verses hold
the Shift key.
*[Number of verses][Number of selected verses] Main/Secondary
Information about the number of verses in each list and the number of selected verses.
Symbol * means that verse list was changed and not saved.

Button with >>> or <<< symbols
Click this button to move selected verses in the direction of the arrows between lists.
Hold Ctrl and click the button to Copy selected verses in the direction of the arrows between lists.
Adjustable frame
Use the left mouse button to adjust the frame between the Main and Secondary lists.
Description edit field
Each list can have a short description about its content. E.g. Search for "heaven", Solomon in KJV+,
Greatest Bible Passages, Verses with Nathan and David in KJV+, etc.
Active list
Radio buttons for switching between Main and Secondary list. Use this when you have
selected verses in a list.
Open / Save
Open verse list file (*.vl) to active list of verses.
Save content of active list to file.
Add verse
Insert selected verse of active book to active verse list.
Preview text
Select one of the opened book modules which will be used for previewing verses in the lists.
If the content of a selected book does not cover all the verses in the list, then only the reference
without the preview will be used.
Commands
In this combo, you can select a command and apply it (button OK) to the active list (or both lists).
Available commands:
"Delete all verses" - HINT: another way is to click on the active list and press Ctrl+Del
"Insert range of verses"
"Insert results of search in book" - Insert results from actual results window. HINT: check option "Insert results of search to list" in search dialog
"Move selected verses" - HINT: use ">>>" button to MOVE
"Copy selected verses" - HINT: use ">>>" button + Ctrl to COPY
"Delete selected verses" - HINT: another way is to select actual verse via radio button and press Del
"Select all verses"
"Invert selection"
"Select common verses"
"Select NOT common verses"
